Summary
Sepsis is a serious condition that threatens millions of patients. It is the body’s extreme responses to a bacterial infection and causes damage to the organs. There needs a system that detects the onset of sepsis early urgently.
Through monitoring vital signs of at-risk patients, an automated system for detecting sepsis in the early stages can be developed. By applying machine learning to analyze data collected by commercial devices, the system can produce a prediction for sepsis.
