Project Description:
This project implemented a pipeline in Python and MATLAB to automate tortuosity calculations for cerebral blood vessels using MRI. Tortuous blood vessels are correlated with severe hypertension and other brain anomalies. Automating calculations is useful for clinical practice where efficiency and accuracy is critical.
