Project Description:

This data analysis project used NFL play-by-play data to attempt to identify trends in kickoff plays in the NFL, namely kick locations and returner decisions, as well as compare drive outcomes for touchbacks and returns. Additionally, it highlights some of the observed point-scoring differences between relatively successful and unsuccessful kick returns.
