Project Description:

The military will utilize hanging cargo under an aircraft for transportation when the cargo is unable to fit inside the aircraft. We were tasked with designing a device that would allow for a variety of cargo to be slung and improve the stability of slung loads in flight thus increasing the top possible speed of a helicopter with a slung load.
